A Little Help Choosing Your Next Pair
If you’ve worn boots for years, you probably have a few things you look for in every pair. If you’re buying your first, you may have questions about where to start. Either way, we’re happy to help.
How do I choose a toe shape?
Start with what you like wearing. Square toes have a broad, angular shape, snip toes taper to a narrow tip, and round toes have a softer, rounded outline. Along with the shape, compare the heel height, shaft and available widths to find a pair that suits you.
Does a square-toe boot fit wider?
Not automatically. Toe shape and width are different things. A square toe can provide more room around your toes, but the fit through the rest of your foot depends on the particular boot. If you need a wider fit, look at the available width options too.
Should I buy my usual boot size?
Your usual size is a good place to start, but fit can vary between brands and styles. If you’re ordering online and aren’t sure, give us a call. Tell us which boots you currently wear, their size and width, and how they fit. That gives us a useful starting point to help you compare.
Can I get help before ordering?
Of course. Call us at 660-584-3733 with questions about a particular pair, sizing or availability. If you’re nearby, stop by our Higginsville store to compare styles and try them on.
